Christmas Lights at the Botanical Gardens

We went before Christmas to see Christmas lights at the Botanical Gardens in Boise. Basically it it similar to Fredrick Meijer Gardens light display at christmas time, only it is outside. And when we went, the lights were beautiful, but it was frigid.

We were so blessed to have been able to go home for Christmas. Thank you to all of our family and friends for making time to see us and working around our schedules. We were overwhelmed with how loved we are. This post captures only a few moments at each Christmas celebration. Derek and I got so caught up in the celebrations that we almost forgot to take any pictures. So here are a few memories...

catching up after the holidays

So, most of these next few posts are going to be pictures as we have not blogged in a while due to the craziness of the holidays. This first post is decorating our little apartment and decorating the tree! Long over due, but better late than never.

 I love the ornaments Derek makes for me each year! So I took pictures : ) Green, purple, orange, blue and silver are our "christmas tree colors" although we currently don't have anything in those colors except these ornaments and some ribbon. Slowly, maybe eventually we will.
